One of the emails that frequently arrives in my junk box has the subject
‘A very special offer just for you’
The sender is ‘support’
I have the idea that I ought to answer it with the assurance that I have no need of a truss…..
……. but I’m not sure that I have the nerve.
Guess I’ll just go on ignoring them instead!

Unfortunately, if you do reply, you would be confirming your email address and opening yourself to more
I know that. The email address is a business one, so not difficult to find. I’m just amused that some people can keep going for so long.
Second Mondrak – even though it’s a business address, there’s no point in proving that it’s still in use. That just makes it more valuable for them to sell to other spammers.
It was a very tongue in cheek post. I’d only reply to a spammer if I thought there was a best selling book out of the experience. Sadly, that’s already been done
Oh, okay then! I missed the tongue in cheekness – I guess I’ve spent too much time in user support begging people NOT to reply to junk emails.
I appreciate the concern. I was amused by the antics of a chap who responded to a spammer and ended up being a best seller
You might not want to reply to those emails, but at least they provide you with a good idea for a blog post!
