I love soup. I love making it, and it’s especially good if I can use fresh vegetables from the garden. It’s quick and easy to make, and frankly I think that just about ‘anything’ goes. Shop bought soups just aren’t the same, however, there are a few brands that can be trusted, and in an emergency we have resorted to them when time was of the essence.
Dashing between venues yesterday we resorted to a pack of this

I expected a light summery flavour but it was a real disappointment. It tasted of garlic. That’s all – just garlic!
Not a good idea to consume something like this when you are in relatively close quarters with customers. So as far as I’m concerned, it’s back to the stockpot!

Sounds yukky and actually I’ve always been disappointed with their soups but also prefer making my own.
