Who cares about logistics?

Logistically speaking, this week is a nightmare!  Lots of things are happening, all at the same time, and they are all in different parts of the local area.  Who cares?  They will happen, and it will all fall into place.

Our lovely weekend ended with much to look forward to.  Here’s a photo of our little stand

and you can see my quilt in the top right.  The event took place in a marquee, and we weren’t drowned or blown away.  In view of the weather we have had recently that was quite remarkable.  I joked about the quilt police over here, and I was delighted to discover that not only were none present, I actually had compliments about my first attempt!

The ground was a little uneven, so that’s why it doesn’t seem to be hanging correctly.

Now on to this week.  Tomorrow my dear mother will be 94.  That’s amazing considering everything that has happened in her life.  On the same day our eldest grand-daughter has her first private view!  It’s exam time, and that’s why I had these made.  With permission I’ll write more about it later this week.  In the meantime, I’ve orders to fulfil and a fair bit of driving to do – here, there and – well, wherever the car takes me.  Who cares about logistics?

  3. Hope this works. Couldn’t “like” your post, even after I filled in the requested info. Just wanted to say…God bless your crafty efforts…and your mum on her birthday. What’s her secret?

    • The problem was mine. Hadn’t logged into WordPress appropriately. Just kind of wandered over after checking my emails. Live and learn…

Hmmm…requested my info again…not sure what’s going on…didn’t have this problem when I visited marion dreissen’s blog. Not sure what’s up. :(
