This photograph was taken last weekend at Tredegar House in Newport, South Wales. It fits the theme perfectly.
Not only have the stones been arranged by hand to imitate an ancient setting, but it was as though the young lads had arranged to sit on the altar stone at that precise moment, especially for my ‘shot’. It was the combination of old and new – they were playing on their computers, seemingly in the middle of nowhere!

I’d like to think that someone would discover this photo in years to come and wonder…
A bit like finding chewing gum on the pavement? I often wonder what future generations will make of that, maybe wonder if it is some strange bird dropping! Thanks for popping in.

Great take, Myfanwy!
Thanks Kate.
I love the thought of them playing on the computer!
It really made us giggle. We had trouble getting a signal for our Visa machine – but they could find the internet!
Fascinating, and a great photo!
Very tranquil, and those kids don’t seem to really have a care in the world. Great entry.
Thank you. It’s a beautiful setting.
