Weekly photo challenge – Contrast

We all know that roses bloom in June in the UK, when it is warm and sunny.

Oops, got that wrong, didn’t I?  This shows the contrast of Christmas red and green.  The flowers look a little worse for wear in this shot – but they soon perked up once the snow had gone.  (Taken in December)

  1. Love the contrast. The colors of red and green, a reminder of the happy and warm times of the Holidays, and the white snow, a symbol of cold, sometimes lonely Winter. Beautiful my friend…
