I’ve had such a lovely day today. A visit from a grandchild is always special, and today was unexpected. Rachel loves textiles too, and is studying it in depth at College. Guess what we did? Well, we played a bit with paints and paper and this
It’s drying at the moment, and I have no idea what the finished result will be, but I’ll keep you posted. You may have to wait a while, though, as she is back to college on Monday and will have other work on her mind. I converted her to blogging, too, so after that first post is up (I’ll let you know when that happens) you’ll be able to follow her antics too. She’s already made an appearance on a blog. I was pointed to this entry here, where you can read a comment made by her tutor for next year! I’ve borrowed the photo from the same blog too. That’s her on the right!

Yes, it does sound like a fun day. Glad you were able to enjoy your granddaughter who seems to have inherited your artistic interests. That just adds to the fun.
That’s wonderful that both of you have the same interest! Wonderful, fun filled day that must have been!
Lovely young lady!
Did you use water colors?
How much fun! You and your granddaughter are BOTH fortunate to share your time and art together. Blogging will be another enjoyable venture to share. Great photo, too!
Lovely!

Looks like the genes have been passed on! It’s also great to see youngsters who are passionate about textiles.
It is a fun and creative day. Love the art work. The best part of it all is that you’re in the company of your granddaughter. Have a wonderful weekend. Thanks again for the Liebster award. I’m hoping to finish my post about it today.
Aren’t we lucky?!
Indeed yes, very blessed. They grow up too soon….
