… to smell the roses. At least if they have any perfume.
‘April Showers’ in May just gently washed the foliage and relieved it of the dust. Summer flowers mingle with spring flowers in the garden this year, and are a delight to behold. This rose doesn’t have a perfume, but it is a beautiful colour, and opens to a perfect ‘rose’ shape. I love watching the garden spring to life after a long winter. The rain too was welcome after dry spell.
Make sure you take time to smell the roses when you see them. They are soon gone.
